Praveen is an experienced professional with background
in Corporate Business Development, Strategy, Venture Capital,
General Management, and Product Development in global arena.
His experience and relationships span across the Asia, US,
& Europe with startups to large corporations in the
Communications, Cloud Computing, Mobile Solutions, Internet,
Energy, & Semiconductor industries. He has been actively
involved in M&A, incubation, investments, Strategic
alliances, partnerships, and joint development. While at
CDIB Ventures, Praveen made successful equity investments
in early to growth stage Enterprise Software, Internet,
Infrastructure, & Semiconductor companies. He has enabled
multiple “paper concept” level companies to achieve
profitability as Corporate Board Member, Turn-around manager,
and Executive Consultant.
Additionally, Praveen has deep technical background in communications,
retail, and energy industries with Lucent, Ericsson, Fujitsu-ICL,
and Halliburton. He has also published 3 books related to
the Venture Capital industry.

Mike Bemis, Technology and Business
advisor
Mike is a seasoned executive with a 27-year track record
of success. He has a wide breadth of development, strategic
marketing and management experience, including multi-disciplinary,
geographically dispersed and international organizations.
As Director of Enterprise Systems Management at 3Com Corporation,
he was responsible for the product strategy and development
of LAN adapter management products. In addition, he was
responsible for planning and ensuring product compliance
with industry and government regulatory standards.
For thirteen years, he held increasingly responsible positions
at Intel Corporation, including Director of Software Technology,
Microcomputer Group. During his time at Intel, he was responsible
for defining strategy and delivering numerous products in
the Development Systems and Microcomputer groups.
Mike also has considerable experience in startup environments,
having served as Vice President of Engineering for both
Insight Development Corporation and OneWorld Systems.
Mike holds a BSEECS degree from the University of California,
Berkeley.

Dr.
Tyzoon Tyebjee, Professor at Santa Clara University, and
Dr. Sunil Gupta, Principal, Thinktodo LLC were two of the
earliest advisors for Apsora. Dr. Sunil Gupta was Assistant
Professor of Marketing at the University of Michigan. Dr.
Tyebjee passed away in 2008. Dr.
Sunil Gupta passed away in a bicycle accident in 2009.
